This Week …

Sunday (Palm Sunday) began “Holy Week”. The week on the Christian Calendar when our sin was atoned; our relationship with God restored. Heart wrenching, visually disturbing images of Jesus Christ taking our sin upon himself. Redeeming us as children of God; sanctifying humans, making heaven possible. What sin stole in the Garden, Jesus’ death and resurrection tramples and reigns over. The created restored union with The Creator. It is our HOPE. Death defeated. LIFE renewed.

It knocks me down!

Words escape. Flattened. Beyond. Gut twists. Knees weaken. Heart explodes. Thoughts consume. Way more than humbled. Sobs of pain. Puddles of gratefulness. Flailing arms of thanksgiving. Cries of “Hallelujah, Worthy…”, etc. This is how my “Holy Week” will proceed… lots of contemplation, reflection and worship.

Allow me to equip you with a few resources, if needed, to punctuate and highlight this week that changed everything about this world! Be Intentional.
