Update …

Hello Friends,

If you read my Post Last Week, you’ll remember I’ve been in moving mode. It happened quicker than we had planned: we’ve been hopping and jumping for a month, with holidays in the middle, to get the move accomplished!

I am happy to report: as of last night at about 8pm, our move is complete!

And with that … I am completely exhausted, sore, and working with a thread of brain power! WHEW … that was a lot of concentrated effort!

As you might suspect, I’ve had zilch-time to process, write, or even contemplate. My days have been full speed ahead, with boxes, papers, padding, bubble wrap and packing tape as my constant companions. They don’t talk much, but certainly are demanding.

I wanted to check in and let you know … I have survived … but plan on sitting and staring out a window for as long as possible!

Find something to be thankful for today!
I am thankful for moving helpers, a comfy mattress, warm bed and heating pads.

Don’t worry about what only God controls!
We may not own a home, but God’s provided us with an awesome place to stay, a roof over our head and food on the table.

Give yourself rest when it’s needed. You’ll be better off in the long run.
Hello picture-window, comfy couch, fireplace, soothing throw, warm beverage, and interesting book.

Tell me what kept you busy this week!!

I’m thankful for you … I look forward to chatting more next week!

Moving weary,

  1. Been there, moved 25 times in the first 20 years of marriage. You have my prayers for recovery and fun discovery in your place. Been busy this week working with capturing my thoughts and making them obedient unto Christ as part of a Bible study. Super hard!

    1. I believe that many moves puts you at Superwoman status😳 Wow!!

Ummm…. that is super hard! Kudos for striving to make it a practice! I think it is one we will never perfect, but should never quit trying.

      Blessings!

  2. We are right in the middle of our move, too! Downsizing from a 10,000 square foot house has been incredibly challenging! Congratulations to you and Jim!

  3. Congratulations to both you and Jim!

Yes, like you, I can confirm moving is long, tiring and stressful! The hard part for you is now over!

I’ll be starting a new job for an local insurance agency within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I am hard working on recertifying my P and C Insurance License credentials. Your prayers are appreciated. Thanks!
