If you’ve been in this blog family long, you know I said when I finished this book, it would come along with a celebration!
The day prior to releasing the book … we did just that!!
We had a Book Launch Party!!
You were all invited, but I knew not everyone could come.
Thanks to all who came, cause it was an exceptional, magical celebration for me!! Perhaps, more than anyone else!! The effort and tenacity it took to complete this project goes beyond my wildest imaginings!! Never, ever did I think it would take this long. Goodness gracious, I would have quit before I started had I known.
Every little part I completed, I’d envision an end date. Of course, it was always closer in my mind than in reality! It just got pushed and pushed and pushed. Sometimes because of life circumstances and they were many. Sometimes because it took way more time than I thought. Just schooling myself on publishing on Amazon was a whole extensive process and learning curve!
But, we got here.
We got to a launch party!!!
WOOT WOOT!!! YIPPEEEE!!! HALLELUJAH!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!! PRAISE GOD!!!

What’s a Party without gifts?
The guys got hats and the ladies jewlery.
Jonathan mentioned when we were close to publishing that he wished the book was a Marvel Superhero book. He’s very funny and also, who wouldn’t rather be a superhero than the one the book depicts, life was hard! I told him that book was on him. “It’s not in my wheelhouse!”
So, I presented him with a main character for the book he’ll be writing!
The Lightning Lord!!
Mark, Jonathan’s father, gave a toast!
Jim, my husband, prayed over the book.
After the count down, 10, 9, 8, 7 … the confetti canons exploded!!! So did we!!!! Woo Hoo!!!
Then, we signed books!
We had an exhibit table with objects from the book labeled with the chapter they appeared in! People could take a picture and refer to it while reading! The other end of the table held Door Prizes and freebies for our guests!
We had a beautiful charcuterie Bar. Plus, a beautiful cake donated by a local decorator and cookie charcuterie!
These our my girls, my “fellow Committee” members who worked so hard, along with several hubbies, to produce my “Launch” event!!! They are the BEST!
They were peeking around the corner while I was speaking, listening for their cue to deliver the “toast drinks”! ❤️

The day fulfilled my dreams … magical!
It left me with all the feels.
More than one person used the word “magical” to describe it.
I will never forget it, nor your care and support from near and far!!❤️
