Have You Seen This?

I have to share this encouraging news!

The last two weeks have been bleak with little hope, especially for Ukrainians. Putin continues to attack an innocent nation for unfounded and ludicrous reasons. It’s horrible and drastic! Millions are suffering … giving lives, comfort, homes, safety… experiencing the atrocities of war!

Last week, I asked you to pray! I know many of you already were, but I hope it was an encouraging reminder for all of us.

The last two days, I have heard some amazing reports from Ukrainian Christians. They sense and feel our prayers and so do their soldiers. In fact, some concrete reports have surfaced of God’s earthly interventions on their behalf.

‘Some Kind of Lightning Shooting from the Sky,’

… Lytvynenko said one man shared with him a story of his son who’s serving in the Ukrainian army. He said the man told him on one dark night, the soldiers were holding their positions and discovered there were a lot of Russian Federation tanks and other mobile units coming directly at them. It appeared the soldiers would have trouble defending themselves. 

The son picked up his phone and called his father. 

“He said, ‘Dad, you have to pray right now. We’re in a situation,’” Lytvynenko said. 

So the father called other members of their church and asked them to start praying. Later, the son called his father back. 

“He said, ‘There’s some miracle that happened. It looked like an attack (on the Russians) from a spaceship. There was some kind of lightning shooting from the sky,’” Lytvynenko told CBN News. “And sparks were spreading everywhere.” 

In the morning, they (the Ukrainian troops) discovered the Russian tanks and other mobile units had been destroyed.

“All of those soldiers thought maybe it was done by some kind of weapon we didn’t know about,” Lytvynenko said. “It was just God’s intervention.”

Lytvynenko also relayed another incident he heard from a friend. He says the friend told him, “We were praying that they (the Russians) would start resisting each other. That the enemy would resist the enemy.”

Lytvynenko says what happened next reminds him of several similar incidents that were recorded in the Bible. 

“Another part of the Russian army, they occupied one little town. And they removed flags from the town’s government buildings and they attached those flags to their tanks,” he said. “And they started to drive. Eventually, in the evening they met the first group of the (Russian) tanks.”

Lytvynenko said both groups of tanks were confused and thought they were looking at the enemy. 

“They started shooting into each other, he said.”

“Ukrainian brothers and sisters of faith are very encouraged and strengthened by the knowledge that believers around the world are praying diligently and fervently for them.”

“And not only are they encouraged by that,” he said, “but they’re getting reports from quite a number of soldiers that are saying strange things are happening.”

“They’re saying, ‘we’re seeing things at night that we don’t normally see that save us’ and ‘it seems like sometimes bullets are just passing us by, instead of hitting us’ and things like this,” he said.

The leader of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church said on Friday that “many people” have told him they have seen…

“Luminous angels over the land of Ukraine.”

Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk was speaking in a video message recorded on March 4 in the besieged Ukrainian capital Kyiv, whose patron saint is St. Michael the Archangel.

“Here in Kyiv we perceive that the patron of our city is the Archangel Michael who with the cry ‘Who is like God?’ cast into the abyss Lucifer — the one who rose up against God’s truth and was the leader of the diabolical armies,” he said.

“We perceive today that the Archangel Michael, together with the whole Heavenly Host, is fighting for Ukraine. So many people from throughout Ukraine are turning to me, saying that they saw luminous angels over the land of Ukraine.”

Pictures have been sent around demonstrating images of angels in Ukraine. I have deleted any I could verify as false, but even if these are not accurate, they are encouraging Christian across Ukraine, myself as well.

Some of these reports show exactly what I have been praying:

• “God confuse the Russian armies.”

• “Send your Legions of Angels to protect and fight with Ukraine!”

• “Let Russian troops lay down their weapons, surrender or return.”

• “God encourage those fighting and hiding. Let them feel your presence and hand of protection. Shield them with Your mighty right hand.”

• “Cover them in the shelter of your wings.”

• “Let the thousands appear as ten thousands.”

• “Bring Your peace into their chaos.”

• “Give them strength from on high.”

• “Supply for their needs… You are ABLE!”

I read reports of light appearing at night to guide the Ukrainian soldiers. Much like the pillar of fire which lead Israel out of Egypt.

Obvious is the comparison between David and Goliath. A pocket of stones against the well-equipped, well-trained massive army of Russia. We all know who won that battle!!

As reports seem ominous and defeating with all the “could-be’s” and “what-ifs”, remember who is in control of this world.

Matthew 24:6 – 8 tells us: “You will continually hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.”

Take hope in these verses, but do not neglect your part in the worldwide body of Christ… PRAY!!

Pray with encouraged hearts! God answers prayers beyond what we can imagine!

In this world, we will have sorrows, tribulations and wars, but God is always with his children, granting peace in the most chaotic and dire times.

We are on our knees for you, Ukraine! We are battling with you in the unseen realms!
